Great shop with fantastic staff! They were incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely keen to help. They took the time to explain which boots would best suit my foot shape and ankle support, and even included a 3D foot scan and heat moulding with the boot purchase!nnI bought a pair of K2 Maysis snowboard boots along with snow chains for my car, and I'm extremely happy with both. The K2 Maysis definitely supports my narrow ankle way better they any other boot I have tried. I'm based in Wellington, but this is definitely my new go-to snowboard shop. Their experience, expertise, and customer service are well worth the trip. Highly recommended!nnCheers!

The Team at TCB are absolutely amazing! Always wanted do have a proper ski boot moulded and fit like a glove.nnWent to a few bootfitters all around the country before TCB but they all just seemed a little bit off. One said my boot was too big and needed to go down a size. The other two tried to sell me the only boots that could fit me which were 130 race boots with zipfit liner to make it work, which was an absolute overkill for what I was needing.nnWent to TCB. A great guy at the desk asked if I needed a hand, advised I needed a bootfit, he told me he would get Ben, the owner to take a looknnBen was friendly, knowledgeable and just went straight to the point asking about my skiing experience without going into technicality of a ski boot.nnWent through 6 pairs of boots and also showed me 3 different types of boot styles. I preferably wanted a single BOA system and was confident that the double BOA system would not work for me after researching online but boy was I wrong. Like they say, the boot chooses you and not the other way around.nnFirst time skiing in a ski boot that fit like a glove and it really has been life changing! The confidence and power in the skis now are mind-blowing. So much so my wife went in the next day and got her new boots too.nnYou can really tell everyone is very passionate about the snow at TCB. Thank you Ben and your team for an amazing experience. I'm sure this won't be the last!
Great service. Haven't skiied in 20 years and not ever used hire kit so was a little worried about fit and quality. These guys took their time to eventually get me into perfect comfy ski boots and a great set of carvers. Having a fabulous day in Turoa, THANK YOU !!!!!
Popped in for a long-overdue ski boot fitting to replace my 13+ year old pair. Thomas was super patient and very thorough the laser foot scan is very nifty. Had some good yarns with Thomas as he went through the process of fitting and heat forming the new boot, and I walked away very happy with a sick new pair of K2 Mindbenders so many bells and whistles - BOA and walk mode?! Life changingnnI noticed such a change in my skiing this weekend with new boots - I felt well supported and my skis felt responsive. After a couple of days in the boots I can feel a couple of spots that might need a little love and tinkering so will be back - and will likely pick up some custom footbeds too, but overall a night and day difference. Highly recommend taking the time to come out and see the crew at TCB.nnEnjoy your beer Tom! nnWe also rented skis for a day, and they were really nicely tuned and waxed- a far cry from the garbage on-mountain rentals.
