Great venue and views but it stops there.nAgreed menu and delivery for a wedding completely missed the point.nPoor service from site manager, poor quality food and table service abysmal.nFrom such a positive conversation at setup, on the night it all went south. Tables not getting food, chicken skewers dry and coated in sweet chilli sauce should have been in a ramiken, cold food that was obviously sitting around, dietary requirements pretty much ignored, chef saying it was too much and too hard even though the booking and menu accepted by venue.nTo me the Venue manager should be on site until food service is done and therefore could have fixed the service delivery anywaynOverall a downer to what was a good wedding and catch up with family not seen in years
I got married here at the yacht club over the weekend!nHonestly what a blast! And Everything went perfectly and seamlessly.nCredit to Leigh and her team at the yacht club,nnReflecting on the review, things I’d like to mentionnwhy it’s worth 5 starsnnWe had 135 guests, they all fit in the venue really well.nIt didn’t break the bank! From my research it was the best value for money we found in TauranganStacked team who all know what they are doing and understand the itinerarynThe pre planning, Leigh was though in the pre planning with us, provided great advice for the daynVenue is amazing! They really kit it out and make it beautiful for the wedding day. We got married on the lawn that they helped set up for us pre ceremony toonnThanks Tauranga yacht club! Your amazing!
Great venue for all kinds of events, have attended weddings, birthdays and even a funeral here over the years. Beautiful scenery, and a great little beach for swimming or fishing off the rocks out front.
A massive thank you to Leigh and her team for our wonderful wedding reception and dinner.nEverything was perfect and so well organised!nWhat a beautiful venue, great views, friendly, flexible staff and lovely food!nI do hope I have the opportunity to work with Leigh again, she is truely fantastic. I can't recommend the Yatch Club highly enough!!!!
Great Place. Have Racing couple days a week.. Also they have Sailability based up that end aswell. Events often. Nice people. Great Club if you wish to belong to one. Numerous Yachting Events an Races throughout the Year. ZBoating excitement for All Ages an Genders. Toilets an Changing rooms on site. Plenty of Parking. Huge Clubrooms. Food an Beverages available. Plenty of Seating indoors an outdoors. Plus grass area to play for younger ones. Nice swimming area that's safe. Aswell as Fishing if you Fancy. Cafe up the Road in Parking area an Yacht Storage n Oarking available. Fresh water taps an hose also available. Highly Recommended
