Tauranga Golf Club

this was a very nice course to play on not too easy ,not too hard ,nice clubrooms,if you hit a draw you can follow the racetrack around,also a couple of imtimadating holes if you have never played there before.

I hit someone in the head with a golf ball but at least I found my ball never found the contacts of the person. I am sory.

What a fantastic team of blokes! Thanks to Jim, Hayden & Keegan for great customer service and friendliness! Course was great to play. Greens were pitching well and overall great experience. Keep it up guys!

Ask first about the state of the greens. They had been cored some weeks before and despite being still in only average condition, a full green fee was charged. In my view, a previously applied discount needed to be continued for another week or two. Oh well, you live and learn. Overpriced anyway. Front nine interesting enough, back nine boring.

Compared to other courses in the Bay of Plenty Tauranga beats them all. With entertaining elevated tee's to fast and challenging greens this golf club is a must play on the New Zealand circuit. With Green Fees starting at $45 for affiliated members for 18 holes it's great value for money.

Located behind the racecourse, it is a quiet premier 18-hole golf club that is open to both the public and members. It has a cafe that is currently catered by Classic Cuisine Catering. They offer delicious cakes, slices etc and beautifully brewed espresso, made by professional baristas. There is also a bar in the club, however, due to the liqor licence this is normally restricted to the use of members of the club, associations of local golf clubs and association of members of the Tauranga Golf club. The service provided by all staff is friendly and helpful. It is also the perfect venue for conferences, private functions and weddings for a cost effective price.

Next to the relatively flat Tauranga race course, is the quite seriously undulating Tauranga golf course - undulating for most of the front-nine at least. Although quite a short course, which starts with two short par-4's a few others follow later, the quality of upkeep and tree-lined fairways create an excellent impression, and the greens are top notch.

There for private function. Golf course looked amazing. Generous drinks from bar. Most enjoyable food.
