Taupo Pet Lodge is ideally situated on State Highway One approximately 18 km north of Taupo making it very handy for any traveller. Established in 2005 and set on 8 acres of farmland Taupo Pet Lodge features the latest in design features and security, with modern, purpose built facilities including; comfortable beds, pampering, unrestricted indoor/outdoor access, large paddocks for exercise and socialising, with a lovely rural and native bush out look. Taupo Pet Lodge also provides heated bathing facilities to keep your pet looking and smelling great.
Steve & Sharon Walls came into the kennels & cattery business with a passion for dogs and cats.
The existing business at the property was rundown and no longer trading. Together they have researched the market and built two purpose built facilities. The Doggy Lodge was built first in December 2005 with the Kitty Retreat close on its heels in December 2006.
Both facilities have all of the amenities that was needed by your cats and dogs and both were built with your pets and your requirements in mind.
Steve and Sharon are very proud to provide accomodation at Taupo Pet Lodge for your pets. Accomodation that is superior in design and comfort and built to the highest standards currently available in New Zealand.
Due to the overwhelming demand they have had to bring on extra help. Elsie and Philip have been the answer to all their needs. Elsie & Philip share their passion for the industry and integrity that it takes to provide the very best in care and attention for your pets. Together they provide a facility that is based upon what you as clients require.
Steve and Sharon also ocassionally have farmstays (overseas workers) to help
