Our team of doctors, nurses, nurse practitioner, care assistants, practice manager and administrators work together to provide a wide range of medical and health care services.

We had amazing care on our visit at Taupo Health Centre. We had been visiting Taupo from out of town and needed some urgent medical care for our daughter. Very grateful for everyone there that helped us! Very friendly and understanding staff.
Call the Taupo Health Center, says will be charged $100, otherwise they don’t have position for a casual patient, ask me go somewhere else, then called Mueli they said go to Taupo Hospital, I went to Taupo hospital, the nurse says you suppose shouldn’t be sent to here. Ask me to go back to Taupo Health Center. I called Taupo Health Center again. They said yes will let a doctor to call you. A doctor called and said you will be charged 150 dollars. As you are not registered, I said I registered in Auckland, the doctor says: “I don’t care, are you registered here? If not, you will be charged”And I said this morning you guys said $100, then she says ok, $100 is fine. I feel …… speechless of all the experience~ if I feel even ever better I wouldn’t come to medical Center at all
I cannot speak more highly about the Taupo Health Centre. All of the personnel there, from Receptionist, Doctors, Nurses, Triage, everyone are just amazing, caring, totally professional. They act quickly when your elderly parents are in pain, require immediate medical attention, whatever required. I am so grateful to them all. Thank you all for everything you do. Had an amazing experience with Taupo health centre service. Came on holiday and my daughters prescription from overseas wasn’t accepted by pharmacy’s. was on the way to our holiday home and needed her antibiotics asap. The receptionists were so lovely and helpful and managed to get me a over the phone appointment with the doctor and was able to get my daughters medicine on the way through taupo.
Awesome service the doctor will is absolutely the best doctor my daughter has ever seen really knowledgeable and so helpful thankyou very much
One of the worst medical centres I have ever used in all my life. Never seen the same doctor twice, never seen the doctor I was originally assigned. Not interested in fixing anything just interested in prescribing pharmaceuticals that band aid symptoms. Also militantly force mask wearing even though study after study proves they are useless and they also think they can ignore an exemption. 0 stars.
Amazing service and great staff we were looked after quickly and professionally and the Team even helped us get another emergency appointment with a dentist the same day. Would rate them higher if I could.
My Parents, Myself & now my kids go here I've always had no trouble or problems when coming here. Seriously, have you ever been to a Medical Clinic where they are running on time? The Staff and Dr's here are awesome and my GP Peter always has time to catch up with me when i see him so please don't be haters cause we all have to wait ....PATIENT'S is a VIRTUE :-
Absolutely useless. Are the doctors even qualified? I have been in 5 times this year for the same problem and it got worse over the year. I waited a little over an hour and The doctor who saw me was googling my symptoms on the internet. My problem got worse so I decided to go back one more time. The nurse checked my temperature and then told me leave to buy a cream. That was it. Not even antibiotics were given. The cream I bought did not improve my problem and she charged me 10 dollars for pretty much checking my temperature. Absolutely ridiculous.
Generally you go in and the staff are ok but spoke to a receptionist on the phone and she was not polite or helpful whatsoever. Have called and been in for repeat prescriptions a few times and the cost always seems to differ, they explained that if I wanted a prescription that day I would have to pay more but all the previous times I got a prescription the same day the cost was less. I guess it just depends on who you get on the day!
