Spent $316 for just two 10 min rides what a rip off not coming back to this one and thy had no paper in the printer so no print out and the track needs to be wider so you can pass on the the track and they are so slow I could not pass my son's on them not fun at all they are too governed by them they control your speed bloody baggers. As I come from new Plymouth to stay at Taupo so I cut our stay short to go all the way to Palmerston North on there go karts to give my son his better experience for his birthday so won't be going by what google says anymore they can stick it.
Great way to spend a morning!. After finding our way through the park the gokarts we were impressed by the dedicated track. Online booking was easy and streamlined the process. We were the only ones there at the time. Which was surprising but we thought was awesome, whole track to ourselves!nnMany karts available. Staff very friendly, helpful and some great banter. Fast to help with any issues.nnWhen in Taupo again we’ll be back for more racing. Highly recommend for kids, teens and adults alike
Great fun activity for kids!!nWe were lucky to have full track for only our kids at that time.nOwner was very interactive & kept us engaged with kid's performance & scores.nWe as a family had a great time!!!
Absolutely amazing experience! The track was relatively difficult not the circles you sometimes get and the karts were fast, easy to use and reasonably new.nHighly recommend to anyone heading to taupo... also highly recommend gloves in the middle of winter
Took my son here to ride the tandems during the holidays. First race was great cart was quick and he loved it. Second race we were placed in a kart that was half the speed of the previous one. After the race I asked why there was such a dramatic difference and they told me it’s waiting on a part to be installed… so I paid full price to drive half a kart. I was the only tandem in the race but yet we were still given this kart. Pretty disappointed paying all that money to get a sub par performing car.nWont be returning unfortunately. Not risking going into a lucky dip and drawing the short straw.
