Extremely nice course and extremely well maintained. The surrounding area is also quite beautiful.nDetailed and accurate course map. Clearly marked tees with diagrams showing the route to the basket. Signs directing you to the next tee. Every basket was in good shape.nThe course even has extra features like alternate tees for the longest holes and a couple holes that have a second basket if you want challenge mode.nnI've disc golfed many courses almost exclusively in the USA, however. This course is one of the top 5 in my life, for sure.
Spa Park is an incredible disc golf venue! It has it all ... stunning views, well maintained rolling fairways, challenging wooded holes, epic elevated tee shots, with 5 varied layouts for players of all abilities. It's totally free to play and cared for by a hardworking local club that just wants everyone to enjoy the game!

The view from the end of Hole 9 reminds me of how privileged I am to have this as my home course!nnAnd did you know, Spa Park is now ranked the #61 course IN THE WORLD! Played the red 18 course. Coming from flat Christchurch the hills were a bit of a battle for me, but the course is beautifully designed and maintained. Fantastic asset for Taupo in general. Awesome job Taupo Disc Golf!
This is a very nice disc golf course, and if you wanna take a dip to cool off halfway through, there’s a beautiful river for it
