Very fun and interesting. A small fee of 5$ is expected if you are not local. You will get everything explained but there is still some lack of information on how to go around and it's rather small. Taupo is small, too, so it was expected.
Awesome little friendly Museum. Very interesting place for a town like this. Would be good to visit this site as a family or just to spend an hour or so of your time.
Good mix of art, history and local culture. Staff were great.

It's a cute lil museum. Took us about less than 20mins to go around. But nice and tidy.
Awesome place to introduce history of Maori people and Their lifestyle in old days, a rose garden on the side of museum as well.
What a lovely experience. We have had the luck to be welcomed so warmly and professionally by a blonde Goddess who was so kind and beautiful. It was a july Sunday visit but this girl had Friday's and Christmas attitude. Wow.
