Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Palmy, even better than a lot of other Chinese restaurant in Wellington. Their yamcha and their Chinese dishes have always been very consistent, delicious and tasty. Portions are also very generous. The service and staffs have been amazing and have always been very accommodating even when they’re busy. Highly recommend this place. Do try theirs spicy sour soup, and their Peking duck.
Family favourite Chinese restaurant, come here very regularly and they have consistently delivered good dishes and service !! Dim sum and dinner is equally yum! Highly recommend this place! On a side note, if the tofu was served with ginger syrup, it would make the dish 10x better :
Yum cha - very reasonably priced, large portion sizes, delicious, lovely friendly and courteous service who didn't rush me and said that what I'd ordered would be enough for one person rather than trying to sell me more. The warm buttery yellow decor and surroundings was clean and tidy. The music was soothing and I felt very comfortable there. I bought one dish more than I normally would in a Wellington yum cha restaurant and Tasty was $15 cheaper but with bigger portions. I don't know about other yum cha restaurants in Palmerston North but I was very happy to discover this one! It's not a flash restaurant but a wholesome one.
Totally blown away by the excellent food quality. I sampled four different items at a group event and it was hard to pick a favourite. Best chicken/corn soup I've ever had. The mains were all unique.. Not your standard takeaway taste at all. Service was very friendly and professional.
We love the yum cha at this restaurant. Great selection and prices are very reasonable. Service is always good and food were served very promptly. The restaurant is spacious and has plenty of separation between tables. The restaurant is clean, tidy and bright. Good place for a group lunch for yum cha where you can savour the great selection of food on offer.
Great service, but I find the food too salty for my personal taste. The Steamed Beef Tendons were too dry and Wonton Soup tasteless.Food: 3/5
Lovely staff + lovely food, thank you for being kind and polite to us and for providing us with so much nice food! Everything was clean and tidy also. I will not have to worry about making meals for a little while, since I have these takeaway boxes! o ˙ᵕ ˙o
The Chinese Restaurant with yum cha dim sums to order. Some of the items are only available on weekend. We ordered the black sesame roll dessert but replied that the restaurant has stopped offer this dish for a while. On the whole, the food are yummy with reasonable price.
Terrible here.I ordered some food they brought wrong one but they said just have it they didn't apologize at all but forced to have that one and we wanted to have what we wanted they didn't like and took back that food what we didn't order.more surprisingly they charged me that food which we didnt order!feels like something not right so we went back to ask receipt and she was checking receipt first and gave back money without any apologize. I never want to go back.and food was really terrible ever!
Chinese food based restaurant. Pricing is fairly good given there's alot to eat. Interior very spartan but spacious and clean. Dined as a group of 9 and had the banquet selection of food served over about the period of 1/2hr. The longest part was the entrees then the remainder of the meals came in quick succession. BYO.
