Taste of Asia is one of the most popular Thai fine diner in the heart of the mount maunganui market and is flocked by locals and tourists alike!

Story

Thai cuisine is famous for is taste with the basis being the tropical ingredients and the abundance of spices. Yet, thai food is not hot as it is wrongly perceived and that is what we tell our guests day in and day out. We prepare meals as per individual tastes and preferences; which is why we receive the love and appreciation of our guests.

People get to eat precisely what they look for! And at Taste of Asia it is not just the food that our guests adore, the service is top notch as well. The guests are very well looked after and that is the reason a lot of them have become a part of the Taste of Asia family. The tone for this was set by our boss Kirti Singh, and our team now ensures that the same standards are adhered to.

There is singing, there is dancing, there is great food and wines and there is great service to back it up all..no wonder guests both Local and Tourists flock this place everyday.

Fantastic meal, comfortable atmosphere, and great service. Asked to increase my spice level and they were more than helpful. Will recommend.
It had a lovely atmosphere with friendly service, well priced and tasty food. If you are visiting Tauranga and want a good value meal you can't go wrong
We were vacationing when we stopped in here to eat. We had the lunch special $15 each and ordered Crispy honey chicken and Asian spicy chicken with all the trimmings. Very tasty and flavorsom. Spicy level option. BYO option. Good value for money. Friendly service. We do recommend.
I enjoyed the vegetarian Thai curry laksa with tofu. Once again up to standard. The only place around Tauranga and the Mount that has it. Very friendly service. Resonably priced. Good menu selection. Beware of the dried chili as it is very hot.
Clean, excellent service. Food value for money. You get as much as you pay for it, and don’t lose anything.
Best thai food I have ever had! Great service and such fresh beautiful flavors!
Something has happened to the food this year. Quality doesn't seem there like it once was. Rice portions have shrunk. Dont get the coriander flavour I craved. Prices have gone up too but still reasonable. Can't say Ill be back in a hurry. Great service and friendly staff.
