Lovely staff, cool activities every day for the kids with excellent variety, trampoline, playground, outdoor theatre screen, pedal trikes for hire, and the highlight - a really nice heated pool, complete with big separate hot pools! Really nice.nKitchen facilities are minimal fridge and stove only, bathrooms are fine.nThe location is very handy to a lot of shops in Pāpāmoa Plaza along with multiple eateries including a great wee spot called The Island, highly recommended for a drink and bite!nThe cost of the standard tent site we booked was what I would consider higher than average, but between the location and the facilities we didn’t consider it to be outlandish.nWe will be happily returning sometime in the future!
After a long drive we discovered that our original accommodation has sold our room, although we fully paid for it. Stranded without anywhere to sleep we found this gem! Perfect location, the cabins are very nice and comfortably furnished. The pool area is amazing too. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, it was raining as we arrived and we did not get a chance to check out the beautiful beach. The only suggestion I have is to have a mat either outside the entrance door or inside as the floor got a bit slippery.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Papamoa Tasman Holiday park.nBy far the best holiday park we have been to yet!nnThere is a wide range of activities onsite swimming pools, playground, outdoor cinema that plays movies all day, real fruit icecream truck onsite, barista truck that offers some snacks, beach access, fishing spot, surfing tutors that you can pay for onsite, massage therapist, and outdoor wood fire pizza ovenYou really won’t need to go anywhere and hours of fun to keep the kids occupied all day.nnWe stayed in a tent and it was our first time wasn’t the best option for us because the tent was borrowed and got ripped up from the wind, however the communal experience was awesome.nnI will definitely be back to try one of the other accommodation options
Stayed with tasman holiday park for 2 nights. We stayed in a 3 bedroom for 8 people, and there was only 2 of us with 2 under 5 year olds. The whare was clean, spacious, had a kitchen, BBQ. 2 toilets and 2 showers. This whare is perfect for a larger family. We got to enjoy the pool with the kids a lot. They have a hot tub, movie theater, and play area for the kids. Right next to the beach. I had a bit of rough experience with a staff member who was a little bit rude upon my arrival. They have a ice cream cart, and food cart that is available until 1pm. But otherwise I had a good experience with the tasman holiday resort.
Stayed here for a special celebration.Fantastic location, hotel standard room which was very spacious,clean and well presented. The only downside was the neighbouring villa invited their family for dinner so it was very noisy. Tried to call reception but unmanned. So that took the shine off, but not the fault of the park, just inconsiderate people. Sigh. Would recommend a visit just mention this to reception to ensure it doesn't happen to you. There is a restaurant nearby but it was closed on Mondays, I have heard it's good so worth a look in.
