Great location with the beach only a short stroll away. The main swimming pool was great fun, we had a blast! I wish we could have stayed longer. Good spot for the kids too. All in all a pleasant place to stay.
great place to stay. We have camped on a powered site for more than 10 years now. Regular improvements being made each year with improved driveway and new cabins this year.nnGood facilities with shared kitchen space, washing up area, laundries and separate toilets.
The location and facilities at this caravan park are good, but that's where the positives end. The powered site we were allocated was shockingly tiny and completely unsuitable for a caravan—frankly, it felt like a poorly planned afterthought. Despite booking 12 months in advance and clearly stating we required a site for a caravan and car, we arrived to find a cramped 6m x 5m space approximately 30m². To make matters worse, opening the caravan door to get in and out was an awkward challenge due to the lack of space.nnIt's worth noting that all the sites in this area of the park are similarly tiny. While they might be passable for small camper vans, they are wholly inadequate for caravans, especially given the premium pricing.nnInitially, we parked our car on the adjacent sloping grass area, but a staff member quickly intervened, threatening that our car would be towed if not parked directly on the site next to the caravan. This left no space to sit outside or use our shade awning. The only alternative offered was to park the car on the main road outside the camp—a solution that felt unreasonable and inconvenient, particularly when permanent sites nearby had ample space and vehicles parked on grass banks.nnAt $1,203 for a week on a powered site, this was far from good value for money. The lack of consideration for caravan users, the high cost, and the impracticality of the site were major disappointments. This is not a place I would recommend to fellow caravaners or be eager to return to.nnStay date: Jan '25
Lovely beach side suite with great views & outdoor spaces too. It would have been nice to have body moisturiser & hair conditioner provided as is the custom with that level of accommodation.
Great holiday park, we booked a basic cabin for 4. We packed well considering some reviews of items not included however, there were plates, bowls, cups and all cutlery included. Everything for washing up, kettle and toaster, great working fridge. Beds were comfy and room tidy, towels replaced daily.nThe pool was great, we have younger kids and they stayed in the shallow splash pad mostly.nThe playground was nice and well kept but definitely more for older kids, probably 8+ My tall 4 year old managed a lot of it but is quite confident with big playgrounds, he couldn't reach some of the things. My 2 year old had to be lifted on to most things.nThe kitchen was clean and tidy, however the microwave definitely needs replaced. It took over 10 mins to heat a noodle dish, it was extremely rusty inside, it was heating up the rust more than the food.nThe staff were lovely and helpful, especially the blonde lady with glasses and foreign accent.nWill definitely visit again!
