I loved this walk. It was a pretty easy walk, even with my arthritis, and rewarding at the end, when you get to the falls - I'm glad I used my hiking poles, as there was a lot of uneven terrain. It took me longer than the map said, but I did have a few stops along the way. It is a walk I will definitely do again. Big appreciation for the DOC staff who maintain these trails- thank you!
Small parking area without facilities, but its five stars due to the great hike
great walking location on an awesome day!
Too small for such a popular hiking track. You'd have to come here super early just to get a spot. It's also not the best sealed car park, very undulated and rocky. If your late you end up parking further down the road just outside the Chateau hotel, which means you have to walk that much longer to and from your car.
Easy to find. Fills up fast. But there are other spots down the street. Crowded days, you will likely have to walk a bit
