Tapper Industries was founded in March 2011 by Troy Prendergast, an experienced engineer with more than 10 years background in a wide range of engineering services, including agricultural engineering, boat building and motor home construction.
Troy and his partner, Brogan White, established an engineering workshop on Dickies Road, near Leeston, in the heart of Canterbury’s prosperous dairying country. The business has now grown to employ three additional engineering staff. In early 2014 Tapper Industries opened a second engineering workshop on Line Road, Methven.
While agricultural engineering remains a major part of the company’s business, Tapper Industries also provides industrial engineering, marine and vehicle engineering, glass and balustrades, and a wide range of custom engineering projects.
Troy and Brogan have invested in the best quality engineering tools and equipment to ensure they provide the highest possible standard of service. Being a family-owned business, it means you can easily get hold of either Troy or Brogan in an emergency.
