Story

TAPAC is an artistic educational environment with a flexi form theatre and studios available for rehearsals and creative workshops.

One of the city's most popular performance and rehearsal venues TAPAC inclusively serves the creative needs and interests of a diverse performing arts community. TAPAC is Auckland’s most vibrant, contemporary, purpose-built city fringe performing arts facility.

TAPAC actively hosts Auckland’s thriving arts companies including, THE ACTORS’ PROGRAM, Co. Theatre Physical, Touch Compass, Massive Theatre Company, The Outfit Theatre Co, House of Hudson, Prayas Indian Theatre Co., DANZ, Marvellous Theatre Group, independent arts practitioners and community performance groups.

TAPAC is also the home of the Western Springs College Performing Arts School.

TAPAC is the result of a partnership between Auckland City Council and Western Springs College.

Awesome place to go if you are keen to upskill your performance skills. Prices are very reasonable and the teachers are definitely qualified....and did I mention, the classes are actually fun...
Great venue, good atmosphere, easy parking. Seating is a bit rickety though.
Great crew, awesome events, usually loads of parking out front. Always a pleasure to photograph productions and events here
Went to see Night Of the Queer
Lots of parking, nice entrance. Went as a spectator - seemed to have its theatre vibe. The children were happy giving their performances, and the lead instructor was good. Would be much better with more instructors per group. Would recommend it for the holiday programmes, don't know the standard programmes.
We love TAPAC our kids have been doing various classes here for 8 to 10 years and they love it, always great teachers and easy to get there parking is simple and no hassles with the billing or quality of the teaching. A great spot.
Lots of dance classes for adults in a fun friendly atmosphere. I love MJs ballet and Megan's contemporary dance classes
