Tried famous Chhole kulcha and chhole bhature. Restaurant was full so had to wait for couple of mins. Weekend is specially busy and famous for chhole brunch. Service and taste was good but overall over hyped and slightly over priced according to me. Hoping to try curries next time.
Best place in Wellington for Saturday morning breakfast. I starts at 10 am and they only serve Chole bhature and chhole kulche and tea. Food is really tasty and authentic Punjabi taste.
The chole khulche and chole bhaturr were unbelievably good. Saturday morning starts at 10 Am. Yes google says its close but its not.nnYes the Biryani is disappointing here, this is not a biryani place, if u like northen india/punjabi food. This is the place. Goat curry and anything non vegetarian is great.
Oh my goodness! Had been craving proper Delhi-style Chhole bhature for over a couple weeks and finally found this place. If you’re a Punjabi/ a dellhite craving some good bhature chhole, you CANNOT miss this place. Such a humble staff and passionate team behind some ultimate tasting food. It’ll be shame to try bhature anywhere else in Welly now.
Second time coming here and it was bad. Waited 40 minutes for microwaved clumpy rice and eggy onion bhaji. Containers were 2/3 filled but am happy about that since my palak paneer was uneatable due to the amount of salt. Butter chicken was standard, not great, not bad. Good amount of spice in the dishes though.
