Awesome to have this podocarp stand so accessible to beautiful Geraldine. A number of short distance tracks which give the full bush experience of sights, sounds and smells. Well done, and thank you to those who look after this for our enjoyment
In comparison to the opihi river track there was a distinct uptick in the foliage and general interest of the surroundings. We met a lonely fantail but failed to find a roosting bat. Would visit again
Awesome short walks. Can be a tad muddy/slippery after rain. Some steep inclines. Good information boards at entrances to each track.
