Takapuna Library - the Library by-the-sea!

Here's what you'll find:

We have carparks directly under our building, with four disability parks and an internal lift. Pay & Display parking in surrounding streets, and buses arrive just around the corner in Lake Road.

Nearby community facilities are: the Citizens Advice Bureau, Auckland Council's Takapuna Customer Service Centre, Devonport-Takapuna Local Area Board, and the Takapuna Beach Business Association.

We're in the heart of the shopping area, handy to lots of cafes, and only metres from the beach and playground!

Good quiet library. Very well air conditioned, good spots to study and work with nice views of the ocean.
The staff at this Library are the greatest. Have a problem finding a particular book, just ask them and they will perform. Many of the dedicated staff have been there for years. This would be the best use of Ratepayers money there is. Great place, great service,. Well done Team.
Nice calm peaceful library. They have a good selection of books, both fiction and non fiction, not the biggest range plenty to browse. The librarians are very welcoming and helpful. Some parking under the building.

The Best library on the shore. The location is next to the beach. The biggest self study area. The biggest children area. The lapsit for children other than English speaking one, they even arrange the Japanese and Spanish.

Good parking, great facilities, love the remote printing option. Print from home and pic up at local library.
