"Not only are we lucky enough to be located on the shores of picturesque Lake Karapiro, but we are also proudly connecting courageous athletes from the equestrian community for competition at all levels.Takapoto Estate Showjumping is an ever growing equestrian facility showcasing the best of the nation’s riders right through to grassroots level. We hold shows throughout the year as part of our Winter Series and a more elite Summer event held in February, known as the Takapoto Classic. Each show brings a taste of European Jumping to New Zealand.We have an onsite cafe & bar open at all shows as well as rotating food trucks. We are big fans of delicious cuisine and keeping it local is high on the priority list."
