The Food was average and the service was non existent. The dessert we ordered red velvet cake was stale/gone bad and we had to get something else
Nice place with stone grill but tour bus stopping by constantly for toilet break
Enjoyed the spicy chicken burger. Staff was quite friendly. Solid cafe type environment with Lake view. Opportunity to add some shade options for late afternoons on sunny days. Good value for me.
The food here is great, and was served to our table promptly. The ordered Seafood Chowder Lunch and Honey Glazed BBQ Ribs exceeded my initial expectation. Would definitely recommend giving the Seafood Chowder Lunch dish as it was delightly tasteful, especially when it is served hot and fresh.
The staff was very nice. We arrived at 20:20 and were afraid we were too late to be served, but were told it wasn't a problem because the food was quick. We ate the stonegrilled beef and venison. They were both amazing.
Good espresso and chai. The wifi is strong and the view is great.
Lovely place. Great food and service. Right next to the lake. Very handy for the Real Journeys office, though it may get busy when your buses arrive.
Convenient location across road from lake. Tea was real leaves in a pot. Food in display cabinet and menu blackboard looked interesting. Super toilets. Good pitstop.
We ate breakfast & dinner there & would eat there again in a heartbeat. Fresh, delicious, amazing food. Great, friendly & courteous staff. I love this place!
Bad experience with mochachino coffee at this cafe. coffee taste was not good because coffee shot was not appropriate. When i complaint about coffee, one of female staff member said..... -there is something wrong with coffee beans..... -again staff said NZ coffee is different than Indian Coffee....Because i'm from India so might be she thought i'm here for holidays only and i d'nt know anything about NZ coffees -Instead of feeling sorry....she was showing attitude and was not following complaint.......and replied with just OK. My reply: If you guys d'nt have good coffee beans then stop making coffee.....Dnt serve bad coffee to customers. .......By the way, I worked as a Barista at Auckland Airport more than 2 years......I can understand taste of each n every coffee......Respect your customers........
