Stayed 3 nights to explore the Coromandel coast and found the Motel perfectly positioned for this. Small range of shops and eateries a short walk away, but for bigger choice you need to drive to Whangamata or Thames. Unit contains a newly renovated bathroom, comfortable double bed, table and 2 chairs, 2 armchairs, and a clothes rack with two shelves. Kitchen equipment was under the counter fridge, with a small ice box, a microwave, a toaster, a 2-plate electric hob, an electric casserole, and coffee percolator. Aircon did a good job of cooling the room, but took some time. Car parking is next to each unit. There is a small outdoors area with a table, chairs, and sun lounger. Overall I found this unit to be comfortable, convenient, and clean, and enjoyed my stay.
Very nice for the pricenPrivate room and patio, parking in front of room. Free washer pay dryer self check in/out. Shovels and body boards for guest use. Walk to marina and shops. Comfortable size rooms. All cooking essentials provided.
A Modern Gem with a Relaxing Garden RetreatnnThis place is very modern, with a lovely garden space perfect for relaxing during the summer. The beds are incredibly comfortable — honestly, this stay was ideal and truly cozy.nnSpecial mention goes to Steve, who was exceptionally friendly and supportive throughout our visit. He's a true gentleman and made our experience even more enjoyable.nnAnother bonus: Tairua Wharf is conveniently located just behind the motel, making it a great spot to explore the area.nnNot to mention his beautiful Toyota GR when you enter an eye catching vehicle nnA must-stay — highly recommended!
This place is a real gem. We stayed in the unit with the beach views which we really enjoyed. It is spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable.
Just an incredible place to stay, well clean and had everything you need for a family stay, BBQ in the backyard, air-conditioned room, big toilet and full of necessities for everyone, a little overdue but doesn't matter to me if you have everything you really need and it is spotless, I will recommend this place for sure, the guy in the reception was nice and well informed about the place
