The Tairua Country Club (TCC) located in Tairua township offers an 18 hole golf course, an eight rink bowling green and four croquet lawns. Tairua is located in the Coromandel Peninsula near Pauanui about 2 hours drive from Auckland, Hamilton or Tauranga. Meals are available at the club on Friday and Saturday nights from 6pm from FeastNZ, Tairua Country Club caterers. Bar onsite.

Thursday - Mixed Day

Saturday - Mens Day
Names in by 10.00am for 10.30am start
Visitors are welcome to play in the scrambles on club days providing they have an official handicap and are welcome to play at any other times (tee booking times not required).

Tuesday pm and Thursdays am
All you need is flat shoes.
Children over 11 years welcome to play

Wednesdays (during season)
Starting at 9am throughout the bowling season September to April
Visitors are made to feel very welcome. The Club is also happy to arrange casual rollups.

Wow, wild golf course that won’t bore, beautiful views 360degrees and well kept. Best to go end of spring in to summer as rainy winters season is quite soft and muddy. Loved my game here and sure to be back! A must do.
This review is only for the golf course… The golf course is outstanding and beautiful with a well maintained area and challenging holes. New signage as to where the next hole is could be much appreciated for the people that are new to the course as it is like a maze , haha!!!! The scenery is breath taking, having the rivers and the pinnacles at the foot of the course!! The course is very unique and has lots of challenging aspects to it which I enjoy! Thanks TGCACC
Loverly course being wet made it tough for bad golfer like me views and people made it a great tournament
Like a number of golf clubs in small aging communities, the Tairua club is battling on despite the odds. Golfers have to make the effort to support this club or yet another holiday activity will vanish. Sponsors looking for a good cause take note.
The nine hole members are friendly and welcoming. A well run tournament on a course that provided many challenges and capable of messing with the best golfers.
Greens where a bit patchy onsome holes but on the whole not bad quite a lot of water hazards so you have to keep your shots straight overall not a bad course
Staff very kind, course is amazing only lost a star with the greens but it is a tough time of year to maintain!
Bill's place Tairua Country Club Restaurant is brilliant. Great menu's variety for everyone and reasonable prices. Bill the chef is so lovely and friendly, Just like his wonderful team. We go there often and we highly recommend Bill's place to all. Regards Shaz and Baz.
Keep this to yourself.Tairua Golf and country club have closed there bowling green and have opened it for Motorhome overnighters.Ten dollars a night for Two.Kitchen and toilets available.If you play a round club showers are free or $5 each otherwise.Fantastic but keep it to yourselfs.Booze is cheapest in town.
Interesting course with strategic challenges, well kept and nice bush settings, good club house facilities.
