The shop looks run down but has everything you need, including several tip top ice cream flavours and a postal service as well as hot food. Petrol prices are higher than in Auckland, and toilet, though sparkling clean, is “for paying customers only”.
Tiny country gas station without a covered forecourt and terrible access onto the road. Lucky Tahuna is off the beaten track and the road is quiet. Great service from the attendant and a fairly good range of supplies in the shop. Prices are reasonably comparable to town prices.
They do great take ways. They were busy at cooking, but went out if there way to get me a LPG bottle. Thanks great people
