Story

We sell the highest quality hand forged Japanese chef knives direct from Tadafusa, the Japanese Manufacturer. We love them, and so do our friends who are professional and home chefs. Join us in your very own Kitchen Oasis.

TADAFUSA KNIVES knives are manufactured in Niigata City on the northwest coast of Japan. This is an area famous for producing the finest sake in Japan and a traditional centre for tool and knife forging. Tadafusa had three generations of knife makers working the the business when we visited in May 2013 who all take an immense amount of pride in their products. The company produce two main ranges of quality hand forged kitchen knives - a traditional range using hand forged carbon steel and a western style range from stainless steel - all perfectly balanced and a pleasure to use.
