We had dinner at Table 188.. Absolutely loved it. The food was perfect and not forgetting the dessert it was delicious. The staff was so friendly. Kid friendly which is a plus for me. Definitely worth trying out. Will go back again.
Went there because we heard that they did a great steak. We were very happy. Wife had the Pork Belly, which was also great. Followed by the Creme Brule very nice. Great service and atmosphere.Food: 5/5

Worst dining experience of my life Autumn 2019 - have tried posting previously but couldn't for some reason Ordered the stuffed chicken breast but what arrived was a chicken roulade- which now kinda shows me what they thought about the calibre of their clientel. The filling was vile, I couldn't eat it but cracked into my side serve of roast vegetables which thankfully I ordered in addition - and they were great. When the matradee looked at my untouched main and enquired how out meals were I said it wasn't to my taste. She just scurried away, and for the next hour, no one returned. Not for more drinks or a dessert menu. It was SO AWKWARD!!! We took the hint and went to pay the over $100 bill for two. Same woman at the till said she hoped we enjoyed everything. I was livid. All I could muster was a "Wow" Paid the bill and went straight to McDonald's cos I was still hungry and nothing else was still serving. I believe she was one of the owners so didn't bother making a complaint. I certainly hope she has learnt to manage customers better since then. Awful
What can I say...this place was amazing!! Exceptional service and the food was unbelievably delicious, even had dessert because the meals were that phenomenal, was the highlight of our weekend. Will be revisiting next time we are in palmerston north, highly recommended 5 star quality

Arrived without a booking but the lovely staff found us a table. The service was superb and so was our food. Definitely worth booking as this restaurant was really busy.
My salmon is average. Pork belly and fish of the day are beautiful, especially pork belly, a must try. Friendly and prompt service, however there is a surcharge for credit card.

OMG! What a great restaurant. Staff were fantastic and the food was awesome. Absolutely loved the pate entree. Our meal was cooked to perfection. Would definitely go back next time we’re in Palmerston North.
