Story

SwimTastic Ltd is a company that is focused on the proven skills of its founder and Director, Mark Bone, to take advantage of the growing need for swim teaching and aquatic awareness within Auckland.

Mark Bone brings over thirty five years of coaching and teaching expertise to the business, leading the industry as a high quality swim teaching service provider. He holds the highest Coaching Qualification that SNZ recognizes, being a “Master Coach” and a “Life Member.”

Nathan Richmond, Director, is a World Class Olympic Triathlete and has represented NZ at the Olympic Games. SwimTastic provides levels of instruction from Waterbabies through to school age children, having identified that learning to swim is seen as a life long and essential skill. SwimTastic will differentiate itself from its competitors through the quality and expertise of staff.

The Company SwimTastic Ltd is a dynamic coaching / teaching name. It captures the background of its Director (Mark Bone) and the fact that he has been at the highest level of Swimming in NZ and Internationally. Mark Bone has extensive experience in the Aquatic Industry in NZ and Overseas. He has been the NZ National Coach of Swimming and has served on the International Coaches Executive Board that influenced changes and policy on the International scene. He has a proven knowledge in Sports Science, and has hosted and conducted lectures throughout NZ and Overseas on developments in the Aquatic Industry. Nathan Richmond as other director brings youth and enthusiasm to this proven team.

Key personnel Mark Bone and Nathan Richmond (Directors) actively participate in the programme at all levels. Nathan Richmond – a former World Triathlon Champion and NZ Olympic Triathlete, brings compassion, enthusiasm and a strong discipline to our teaching programme. Other teachers have been sourced and trained on the SwimTastic model, and are part of the Team for their quality of teaching.
