We offer infant, toddler, pre-school & school aged swim lessons beginning in term one 2020. We plan to expand our services to other groups in the near future. Website coming soon!



"Swim Mangawhai is located in the heart of beautiful Mangawhai Heads.We offer private and group learn to swim lessons from 6 months old to adults, AquaFit, rehabilitation support, lane swimming and recreational swims.Our enclosed 10x4m swimming pool is a full mineral pool and heated to roughly 32 degrees year-round.Facilities: off street parking, four heated in winter changing rooms, toilet, trampoline, seating for caregivers, outside feeding area for babies and children."

Our daughter started at Swim Mangawhai when she three months old and has loved every minute of it! At ten months old she now splash as soon as she gets in the pool with a big smile on her face. We are so grateful for the amazing team helping her build water confidence and safety skills. It’s an added bonus that she sleep well after a swim! We look forward to swimming every week! I literally have no complaints. Everyone is super welcoming and instructors are hands on. My girl has been coming for a year now and loves it. Facilities are always in great condition, if you miss a session and advise them ahead of time they quickly give you token for a makeup session. What more could you want?
Absolutely love Swim Mangawhai! Both of my babies have been doing classes since they were tiny. Emma is fantastic at making sure the children are in the right classes that match their abilities and confidence, and the instructors are fantastic.
We were looking for swimming lessons for one of our children who lacked confidence in the water and felt nervous about starting swimming lessons - well we certainly found the right place!! Swim Mangawhai & the team have been absolutely amazing!! Now 12 months later, we can’t get our little swimmer out of the water!!! We couldn’t be happier - thanks SO much - highly recommend them to all families :

My daughter started swimming lessons when she was 6 months old. We have been going for a year now and she absolutely loves it! She gets super excited when I tell her its time for swiming! These lessons are everything I was looking for and more! The friendly helpful instructors and small classes are great! At this age it is all about water safety and she has learnt so much already!
Both our kids love attending Swim Mangawhai. Super friendly instructors, amazing facilities and a place the kids genuinely love to attend. Such a valuable asset to our community!
Our son has progressed so much in the water and with confidence. He has been well supported and it is so pleasing to see these results in his ability. He loves going to his lessons and Jess has been fantastic with him.
Been going to Aquafit for a couple of years now. Absolutely love it. I go twice a week with different instructors and every one is inspirational and very engaged with the group. Programmes are varied and all give a good workout. Lots of fun too! Can highly recommend. Emma, you provide a great local service!
