Beautiful place. surrounded by birds and the fragrance of lavender.. loved our stay..we were given a free upgrade on our rooms roo.. Thank you.
Quiet and peaceful for a great nights sleep with a good bed and proper pillows. A short walk to the restaurants in town and bikes available if you’d prefer to ride. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck in front of the room in the afternoon sun. The provided breakfast each day left in room so you could have when you wanted of cereal and toast worked for us, especially with the coffee machine and wide choice of teas.
Absolutely wonderful. Our hosts were amazing, helpful, friendly, inclusive and have an amazing place to stay. They fitted us in with a bit of juggling for an extra night when we had to change plans and provided the best accommodation that we had anywhere. Wish it had been more than two nights as we didn't get to spend enough time in the amazing room. Everything you could wish for was thought of and provided. We'll be back in a shot if we get over to New Zealand again for sure!
We had a fantastic too short night at Swan House. Our host was above and beyond helpful. The room was immaculate and fulfilled all our needs. The gardens are beautiful and there is a lovely deck that we unfortunately did not get to sit on! We would highly recommend this accommodation
We really enjoyed our to brief stay here. The room is very comfortable with everything you need. Do note there is no cooking facilities in the room but Maurie will heat food for you if needed. I would encourage you to support the many very good restaurants in town though.nEasy 5 minute walk into the village centre with bicycles available if you're not up for a walk but don't want to drive.nGardens and deck area are also nice for additional activities.
