I was heading to Hamilton with my family. We chose a sushi restaurant at random. We had sushi, dumplings, and U-don soup. The handmade dumplings and U-don soup were really delicious and the lady was very kind. I will visit here again.
Having been to Japan twice I can confidently say that Sushi Donburi stands up to the quality of food in the best restaurants there. The quality of ingredients, excellent textures and flavors, and love which the two women put into the food is very obvious in every bite.nnThis small restaurant in a town we passed by on the way to the Waitomo caves will have a place in my memories for a lifetime.
Very nice, fresh and big sushi. Great quality, price and variety. Friendly staff. Worth the stop for lunch. Has also meal options if sushi is not for you.
Best sushi around, we drive an hour to come here and are never disappointed.
Amazing food so happy it's open again service is top notch friendly 100% highly recommend a must do on any travel or local.
