Not a typical tourist beach and can be a bit smelly when the algae hits. Nice walk though.
Nice little beach but currently is closed due to black algae that is present with the hoter summer water temperature. So not worth stopping in due to the sight and smell.
Surfdale is a nice little beach but is subject to algae bloom, so unfortunately, it is often closed and a bit smelly. But if open and no bloom is a pleasant place to chill out.
Lovely at high tide. Water goes out a long way. Quiet compared to north side of Waiheke
