Surf Fit NZ is a group fitness programme for surfers wanting to improve their overall surfing fitness.
WHO AM I?
My Name is Drue Matich, i am a former competitive Surf Life Saver turned Surfer. I have been coached by some of the best in the world including:
- Shannon Eckstein Reigning World Ironman Champion.
- Brett Dowker- Former Australian Surfing Life saving Coach and owner of 'Super Surf Camps',
- Andrew Towns former Orewa Surfclub Head Coach and owner of AXLR8 Paddling.
WHAT IS 'SURF FIT':
'Surf Fit' consists of weekly group fitness sessions.This will Include paddling as well other key exercises specifically directed at surfing fitness.
'Surf Fit' can cater to all levels of surfers from Beginner through to Advanced.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Surfboard (any shape or size), wet suit (if you get cold) and a good attitude.
SESSION TIMES:
Tuesdays: 5.30pm - 6.30pm - including warm up
Thursdays: 5.30pm - 6.30pm - Including warm up

WHY 'SURF FIT':
Surf Fit NZ was established to enhance the overall fitness of surfers who want to make the most of their time in the surf.
Being 'Surf Fit' is the most crucial part of surfing, from getting over those last couple of breakers to catching the wave of your life.
'Surf Fit' will allow you to increase the number of waves you catch, and also help to improve strength, conditioning and technique to reduce the risk of injuries.
Being 'Surf Fit' is also very important for those dangerous situations the ocean can put you in from time to time.
PRICES:
5 x Sessions- $45
10 x Sessions - $80
1 off Casual- $10
