They have a sign saying no mask no entry. They say they are following government guidelines. I have a genuine exemption and I am not allowed in without a mask. I am allowed everywhere else in the whole of nz and Australia without my mask. Even in the airports and on the planes. Show my exemption and no problem whatsoever. But these two stores demand a mask. Not sure if that is even legal
Absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated at this store.nnAbused and yelled at by the woman at the counter when walking into store. A little bit of respect for another human being seems to be unheard of at this store.nnThe owners and people working at this store are not medical personnel and they are giving out advice that contradicts the MBIE covid guidelines. They should probably get some proper advice regarding covid-19 instead of relying on their opinion.nnI didn’t know an alcohol store was also classed as a medical premise & the store personnel were all of a sudden doctors where they can make medical decisions for customers - who would’ve thought?!!nnThere are better stores to support in Mangawhai - please don’t waste your money here.
This store breaches the Human Rights Commission, denying mask exemptions. They're a law unto themselves and arrogant to that fact as well. Avoid and buy out of town or online and save yourselves the trouble of giving the Adams Family Enterprises any of your hard earned coin.
This shop discriminates against people with health issues or disabilities who are unable to wear a mask, even with an exemption I was told I was not welcome. I scan everywhere, am double vaxed and get tested twice a week.
Really busy for New Years and those heading to Northern Bass, overall very good considering traffic and parking is a nightmare at this time of year. Staff are AWESOME.
