Frequently Asked Questions

Is Stand Up Paddleboarding Difficult?
No!!
If you can stand up, you can stand-up paddleboard. Your highly trained instructor will ensure that you are on the ideal board to get you up and going, whatever age, shape or fitness you may be
.
Will I get wet?
Almost certainly not, unless you choose to jump in! The flat calm waters of the Kororipo Basin provide the perfect environment for learning this great sport, and falling in is entirely optional.

How long is a session?
A beginner lesson normally lasts just over an hour. For improvers and explorers, it can be as long as you want.

Do I need a wetsuit?
Absolutely not! The water is warm, but there’s no need to get wet anyway.
I already know how to paddleboard
Great! Then why not enjoy a cruise up the incredibly scenic Kerikeri inlet, or an improver lesson?

Simple and cute place to see history things. There are coffee place and restaurant close. Also, a beautiful garden, flowers and lake.
Lovely place to visit, the shop inside has so many interesting souvenirs and the people there are really helpful. The surroundings are peaceful. Sit quietly by the water or grab a coffee at the nearby cafes. Take a tour of the stone store or Kemp house and learn about the early European settlers in New Zealand.
Real nice place to walk around, great to see the history preserved and offer tours too. Gift shop is pretty neat, great selection of gifts available. The cafe is nice, good coffee and tea.
Nice and cool inside on a hot summers day. Excellent selection of gifts and supplies.
Super cute. Well looked after. Loved the gardens. And the shop had some really great stuff.
Great for a picnic where friendly ducks & geese serenade you happily, while basking in the sun on a grassy lawn overlooking a peaceful Kerikeri river.
So much to explore here. If your willing to walk the tracks the views are amazing. Some tracks lead you to old Pa sites... there's a story here and if your able too, then I suggest you take the time to visit this spot and enjoy the beauties it has on offer..
Beautiful old stone building next to still lake.
Typical gift shop but has a small interesting basic museum upstairs, that requires payment.
Interesting bit of history originally built at the cost of £600.
