Sunshine Ave was recommend to me by a work colleague when we were looking at care for our son. We looked at two different daycares during our search. Our first impression of sunshine that it well back from the road but had impressive outdoor facilities. We found it clean and well organised considering they deal with the number of children they have. I was impressed to find that enrollment costs covered not only food but also nappies which meant less stress for me. I have found the staff at sunshine dedicated and attentive to the children in their care. They upload plenty of photos of what my boy and his mates have been up to during the day. They have been very flexible and understanding to our needs around the days our son needs to be there etc. My mother, who has been teaching in Primary and ECE for over 50 years came with me on a drop off one morning to check out the place she got to spend some time talking to Ally about my son and how Sunshine operate. Mum left saying that if she had young children she'd send them there. I have found my son's growth at sunshine amazing. He's always happy arriving and is happy when I pick him up. I feel very comfortable sending my son to Sunshine.
My children have been attending Sunshine from age 1 and 4 months they are now almost 3 and 18 months. My eldest felt so at home and welcome that he completely ignored me his entire first visit which ended up being four hours and he was so comfortable in the environment that he started the next day! Both boys absolutely LOVE their daycare and have a great time. Sunshine have been so understanding and accommodating for us and the teachers are wonderful, caring and passionate people. Wouldn't want to send my kids anywhere else!
My son is 10months old and joined Sunshine Childcare in January this year. He absolutely loves this place and the teachers. They worked with us to ensure the transition from home to fulltime childcare has been as easy as possibly on him, with plenty of visits. I was quite apprehensive as we were struggling to get him to take a bottle and they have worked with us to find a solution that works for Ben. He loves the play they do from sand to water play and always has a smile on his face. You can really tell the teachers care.
My daughter Ariana has been attending sunshine since she was 4 months old, full time. She is a happy well rounded little girl who live going to sunshine. The teachers give there all to every child making sure that each child feels special and loved, the dedication of the staff is one of a kind. No better place to put your child, an amazing facility and amazing sunshine family.
Sunshine is great place to work. The Directors are hands-on, providing support, attending events, and even stepping in to teach when needed! Sunshine grow and support their teachers and appreciate that great education and care starts with the teachers.
5 years I've been bringing my children here. We love it as they enjoy Kapahaka and Te Reo Maori in there routine. The Kaiako are heaps of fun and always welcome us everyday. My children are very creative and constructive with good boundaries due to what they have been taught here. I appreciate all the mahi that goes into our tamariki at Sunshine Daycare Centre. Use are the best.
Love working with such an enthusiastic and supportive team ! Would be happy to enrol my daughter as its such a beautiful, large, and natural outdoor environment and the teachers are caring and support children's growth and development with aroha and open arms.
My children love Sunshine Childcare on Sunshine Ave. They have both been there since little babies, they are well cared for and always feel loved; the staff are like family to them. Highly recommend.
My kids have been attending since they opened. Love the positive family vibe, the crazy interactive teachers and the stories that come home from the days adventures.
My daughter Angel moved there recently and all efforts were made to make sure she fitted in perfectly. Awesome people, heaps of resources.
