Story

Hi welcome to Sunline Equestrian School! My name is Sandy Reid and helping riders and their horses get together, learn and have fun is what I do.
I have over 40 years experience riding and have trained under some of the best Coaches in New Zealand and Overseas. I continue to attend clinics myself with these Trainers so that I can keep upskilling my coaching methods as they are constantly changing.

I have competed in Eventing and Showjumping and still continue to do so. I want to pass on to my clients all that I have learnt in the hope that they too can enjoy affordable tuition to help them reach their individual goals.
At Sunline Equestrian school we offer a range of quiet beginner horses that will help learner riders gain confidence and master the basics before they are ready for their own horse. I also believe learning Horse and Pony care is a crucial part of the lesson especially for parents that have not had much experience.

Lessons can be either private or in a group situation and tailored to each riders individual requirements for what they are working towards, be it learning to rise to the trot through to Pony Club Certificates and specialist disciplines.

I am also available by prior arrangement to do Pony Club Camps and group lessons locally.

I am always open to discuss any problems a rider is having with their horse or any aspect of riding they are concerned with to help them progress.
