This café is perfectly situated right by the parking area, so if you're lucky enough to grab a spot, it's a great place to stop for a coffee.nThe lattes were good, although the mocha wasn't quite to our taste. The food was decent overall—the corn fritters were tasty, but we wish they had been a little less greasy. The waffles were goodnOverall, it's a nice café to pop into for a casual coffee
A good place to stopover after a long drive from Rotorua. And subsequently another long drive to wellington. Must try their banana bacon waffle.

The BEST corn fritters in Dannevirke. The BEST in the region.nnI remember once going to a fancy cafe in Sydney because the chef was TV famous for their corn fritters. Pretentious wanna be’s paid a lot of money for those corn fritters. I was just hanging with them.nnTHESE ARE MUCH BETTER!nnAll the rest of the good was spot on.nnCoffee was so good I had two.nnBONUS: They gave a great guide on how to order your coffee in Maori. Give it a go!!
