Bad coffee. The food was edible but suboptimal - tomato soup of the day was marginally better than canned and poached eggs were overcooked. I was also disappointed by the bread, which was the kind you can buy in a supermarket Freya's?. The service was slow and the interior is unappealing. The only positive is the beautiful outdoor area in the back. We will not be returning.
Loved the vibrant colour and the garden room. Even plants in the cheerful yellow toilet. 19 for lunch. Delivered on time to correct person and dishes perfect. Salad especially yummy. Portions generous.Food: 5/5
Ok place with dated decor. Coffee was good, apple crumble average. Service was horrible. Asked for a scone, rest of order for here, we sat at a table. The girl was completely not focused and made the complete order take away. When we made a remark it was all our fault. Be professional and get your act together
Overall, it was good. Coffee was well made, food the Dump was good but with so much on the plate, was very watery and lacked taste. No crunch, just soggy unfortunately.
This is a cosy ,quirky, little cafe in Opunake. We arrived with the lunchtime crowd so it got very busy and the wait time for food was longer than we expected. There is a tiny area outside which caters for those who enjoy the sunshine while eating. I ordered the BLT which was pretty good. My friend ordered a scone, custard slice and a cuppa. She said her order was delicious.
Legitimately excellent coffee on a Wellington scale, food was very attractively presented, but a little inconsistent. Breakfast stack was good, but a little underseasoned. Pancakes were far too solid, but the fruit was great.
Excellent menu selection and garden area out the back. Makes for great atmosphere. Staff are genuine and professional. True Taranaki hospitality.
The Sugar Juice Café is fantastic. They offers a wide range of different food also warm and cold drinks. The Muffin which took was really delicious and warm. My cappuccino beside it was strong with nice chocolate on it. The decoration is colourful and gives a good feeling.
