The reviews are excellent for this little cosy cafe stopped over on the way back to Auckland for a coffee, unfortunately it was burnt tasting so wasn't too impressed otherwise good atmosphere and service.
Food was good, coffee quite nice. Staff is friendly and efficient.
The best eggs Benedict. Pancakes were awesome too. Classic was satisfactory. Coffees were great. Fast and efficient service. Book a table in advance during busy times like holidays. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience. Best ever fries and aioli. When something so simple is done so well you know you are into a good thing. The flat white coffees were top rate too. I noticed several people enquire within but be disappointed to find out they didn’t do evening meals. The menu was interesting. I reckon with a little spruce up and serving evening meals once or twice midweek then the Success Cafe would live up to its name. In the mean time grab a fantastic lunch outdoors out front or back.
The food was OK... Presented well But very bland... I had a chicken salad.. And my friend has a hamburger.. I took a photo after he already had half. . I eat out a lot and been a Google guide for a long time so I compare it to the food that is out there I have on a daily basis at cafes. . I do think it will be lovely when the chef can add some flavours and spices to the food it shows you cook with love not just hurrying it up to get a meal out to clients. There should be a sense of pride to present food to people that actually have great flavors. ... After all we are paying for it.

Went here, not all that impressed. Our orders were incorrect and the coffee was pretty lukewarm. Their policies over changing an order seemed a little over zealous and not all that welcoming. I am curious as to what they have defined their success criteria as. 2/5 would rather get a thick shake at the Coromandel Super Saver and Lotto highly recommended
If success means paying $0.75 for each individual marshmallow you ask for, then this is a very successful cafe. In reality this is possibly the rudest service I’ve ever had in NZ. The only way to successfully enjoy this cafe is by rapidly walking past, enjoying in the thought that you have narrowly avoided one of New Zealand’s worst cafes.
