As an ex Subway employee from the Wellington region i am severely disappointed. They were under staffed, they had poor customer service, and the dining area was grotty. As I was at the eftpos machine I had asked for cookies, and the “shift manager” was rude and expressed his inconvenience mumbling under his breath then telling me they were not ready they were, just not stocked up in the cookie cabinet. His attitude was poor, their efficiency to deliver in a timely manner was poor.
Very bad experience with staff, who is making our subway. When we ordered 6 subway and one avocado toastie at the same time her face expression is so bad and she hasn’t make any single subway properly. We all are from Wellington and we used to eat subway everyday. Employee like this making subway brand down
Food was fine. Service was pleasant. The were very busy and kept up the pace.nnCouldn't see a menu board for their snack items.nnNot sure how I feel about the gentleman on the counter wrapping up the sammies and taking money with the same gloves on....
This was the worst Subway that we have ever had, miserable amount of filling.nIndian girl serving us wasn't friendly and was rushing us through even though we were the only customer.nWe should have seen the obvious and left, no customers at lunch time was not a good sign.
In many ways this is a typical Subway outlet. The food was the same as every other Subway.nThe location at the southern end of town is convenient, with parking on the adjacent side street off the main road. This store has a nice floor plan. It's slightly elevated above the footpath outside and is quite large, with plenty of tables. The bathroom is OK.
