TLDR: Probably one of Wellington's best option for vegans that is really good, but not diverse enough to be perfection. Service: the wait staff were prompt and efficient. While I have no complaints, they were not what I would call welcoming or inviting that makes for the truly 5 star service of "I loved it" according to the rating system. Atmosphere: another set of solid 4s here. It was clean and well decorated, but it was a tad cramped and didn't scream "come back" to us. Food: most importantly is was the food good? Heck yes it was! However, after trying four different dishes, it became a little one note. While the flavors were good, each dish started to taste the same and we tried to order a variety. Additionally, my noodles were a bit over cooked, on the mushier side of cooked, but the sauce was good. We would totally come back because Wellington has few decent vegan options. Nolita does a solid, good job with vegan food. We would just recommend a little more variety and some injection if unexpected flavor to keep us interested. Vegetarian options: Vegan everywhere! Dietary restrictions: Vegan yes!
Great restaurant if you're after a vegan menu. Terrific selection of entrees, mains and pizzas all meat and dairy free. The cashew mozzarella cheese is really good, as are the pizzas made with sour dough bases. Good selection of drinks in the menu too.
Nolita is the first plant-based Italian restaurant I have been to - and it’s amazingly good food! It even tastes better than the traditional versions! I went there 3 times in the 2 weeks I was in Wellington! The staff are friendly and helpful with a real international flavour. I highly recommend the Malfatti, the sourdough garlic flatbread a 48hr fermented bread and their cashew mozzarella is just so good! Definitely worth checking out
Great pizza and snacks. I've had a few pizzas, their pasts option, and their organic wine options are great too. Bit late now, but their WOAP 22 burger was delicious. Recommend getting some vegan grub here : Vegetarian options: 100% vegan restaurant
Great service, every time we have been here we felt special. The food is fantastic, well present and most of all delicious. The “mozzarella” it’s incredibly tasty.
The most happiest feeling as vegan when you can't decide what to choose as everything on the menu is vegan! Heaps of pizza options pizza was delicious!! Starters good portions & pasta! Everything you can wish for ! Didn't get the chance for the desert as we were too full Vegetarian options: All vegan
I’ve eaten here many times. It’s perfect for vegetarian and vegan diners! I highly recommend their pizza selection. The only pizza I haven’t enjoyed was the Verde — a bit too vinegary and too many toppings for me. Adore the Pizza Patatine and Parmigiana! Their Gnocco Fritto, House Focaccia, and Roasted Artichoke starters are phenomenal, too!
Such a wide range of delicious vegan food, that we ended up going 3 times over a couple days while on a trip in Wellington. I'd definitely recommend for anyone to eat at Nolita!
Came here for brunch starving after a big night on the town and left feeling like I needed a vomitorium. Great food and in bulk. The spinach and ricotta balls are DENSE and yum!!. We ordered fries for the table because that's what you do at a hungover brunch - my god, the bowl is huge. Every bowl is huge. No matter how big you think your stomach is - think again. Even the caesar salad was a real chestburster!! but again - yum. Vegetarian options: entirely vegan
Delicious! Portions were great as well. The Alfredo was lovely and I would definitely go back. Staff were really friendly and welcoming.
