You have the choice of 2 Streetwise coffee carts as you travel through Otaki, and this one is best accessed near the top of the town as your heading south. The other is a little further down, tucked into a space in a car sales yard, on the right. I’ve long been a fan of Streetwise coffees, especially since they switched to my favourite bean roasters, Havana. My daughter and I got a couple of very good coffees here on our way through to Palmy recently, and they didn’t disappoint. If traffic’s too busy in Otaki for you to stop, then there’s also a great Streetwise cart a little further on in Shannon.

Look out for the caravan as you enter Otaki from the north. Good coffee. Friendly staff. When the traffic is slow you can’t miss it. AND you can park behind it!
Always a welcome stop when we are heading North on a road trip out of Wellington. Good coffee made quick and hot. Bonus little bean shaped chocolate with each order adds a nice touch. You can download the app and order ahead. There are Streetwise vendors at both ends of Otaki town centre. The North end one has more parking nearby. Vendors also sell cookies. This cookie range is a bit average unfortunately and needs a revamp.
Very good coffee here. Especially good to get before heading to the market or worthing stopping for before going into a trip to Taupo. The service is excellent to and the smiles will make your day.
Zoom zoom zaroom but don’t forget to brake. Best coffee before you reach Wellington. There is car parking behind the cart. The ladies are on to it and always have a smile and are jovial. A great way to start your day. Thank you
