Great location. Mountain house was closed but the walks are great. Curtis walk is a great walk for the experienced trapper.

Very very disappointed!!! Not open on a Wednesday. A beautiful day up the mountain. Website says open. Big article on Stuff suggesting everyone should visit the Stratford Mountain House. No point if the place isn't even open, on a day it advertises it is. Will only go back to visit the mountain NOT the mountain house.
Best food I have had in a long time! Amazing service, beautiful view, everyone was very friendly and accommodating we were in a group with 3 kids 4, 3 and 1. Definitely will be heading back soon

Great place in the wilderness. You can see the mountain if weather is in your favour. Had a lovely 3 course luncheon. Mine host most attentative and good to talk with.
Absolutely top meals, Cassidy our waitress was fantastic, stunning setting and revamp. Manager very helpful and friendly. Well run restaurant that flowed smoothly. All staff were a real pleasure to deal with. Will definitely be back again.
Didn't meet the expectations at all. In the past I had a great experience, when the food was delicious, menu was an exciting one. Tonight, it was a let down. I took my family and friends but none of us enjoyed the food. The waitress did an awesome job, 5 stars to her customer service.
Fabulous location. Food excellent. Nice beverage choice. Great service...highly recommend.
