Everyone has always been great to deal with at Storage King, awesome communication. The unit was a perfect size to store my two bedroom apartment furniture. I also love how attentive the team are to the security of the building, being really prompt in advising if the lock was not on properly etc. They clearly do thorough sweeps daily to check everything is in order. Very friendly and professional. The unit was cool and clean, and everything was in perfect condition after being in storage for more than 12 months. Ease of access, equipment there when needed trolleys etc. Thanks!
The day we moved our goods into the storage Saturday we had an issue with the elevator and it didn’t want to work. We tried to call the helpline but someone from Australia or elsewhere picked the phone with absolutely no clue on how to help. We then tried the emergency button to see if the dispatcher could help and all we hear from the elevator was static noise and a very distant noise. This ended up in having to pay more to the movers that helped us that day for the extra effort of taking the things up the stairs and the time that we could have saved if the elevator worked properly from the beginning, we wanted to be reimbursed for the extra money they made us waste and the unnecessary stress this brought to us. To make matters worse we then tried to complain to the manager Amy who was anything but helpful and gave us any sort of recommendations on how to use the elevator as simple as it could be. We went once again and the receptionist informed us that she leave every day at 2 Pm but that we can arrange an appointment after hours, the day of the appointment we called to confirm that she was going to be there, only to figure that the receptionist didn’t tell his manager that we were going on the date he specified so we waste a lot more time. At this stage we’re fully booked ourselves and we won’t be able to move somewhere else before our holidays, so won’t recommend this place at all to anyone not only the facilities don’t work properly but the staff is a bit helpless and don’t provide timely solutions to the customers.

Absolutely appalled by this company. In November I signed a contract for a storage unit for 170 per month. Once I dropped off my belongings, they FORGED my contract and re wrote “increasing to 230 after 3 months” after I had already signed it!! At no point did anyone ever tell me it would be increasing to 230 a month. If they did, I would have gone elsewhere but my stuff was there already and I was moving overseas the next day! Very disappointed to say the least.
