We're an elopement photo/video team and had the privilege of shooting at Stoneridge Estate this past week and it was stunning!! The room and views were gorgeous! We would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get married or anyone wanting to stay in the area! The staff are also so incredible to work with. We had the best experience with them!
This is my first time visiting their cellar door. I went for a wine tasting and found that is an incredible winery. They have spectacular view and garden. Everything is outstanding. The wine is amazing and I love all the artworks on the label and within the tasting area.The staff are friendly , I was served by Eliza who is very professional and generous. I will definitely come back again!!
We have just had the most memorable stay here. From the moment we arrived it was magical. The grounds are just stunning and definitely a labour of love, the attention to detail is evident everywhere. We stayed in the retreat which is mind blowing, the building is a masterpiece I have no words to truly describe how amazing it is. Our suite was luxurious but cosy so much thought has clearly gone into the finish. I think what made our stay even more memorable was the warm welcome we received, the staff are so lovely and nothing is too much trouble. In fact I’d say they go out of their way to make your stay a dream come true. I’ve never stayed anywhere where the staff seem to care so much about the guests. Jono is a superstar he is so thoughtful, we popped out on our last night and he brought our evening cheeseboard and wine but we also came back to candles in our room and a chocolate on our pillows. Sally who made our Trust The Chef Dinner so special and Jose for being the most humble but amazing chef. The manager even popped in to say hello and chat. You really need to experience the magic for yourself our memory of Stoneridge Estate will last a lifetime.
I went for a wine tasting and found the most beautiful winery! This place had gorgeous gardens, an old chapel and views of the lake. I had the standard tasting, which was a great overview of New Zealand. There was a large group in the cellar door and other people who were wanting some tastings. Walker was great at managing this traffic and making everyone feel welcome. I really appreciated the explanation for the wines and the region as it was my first time trying NZ wine. Thanks so much.
We stayed for our honeymoon and had the most special time. We had delicious daily breakfast and afternoon cheese and wine. On our first night we had the chef suggested 5-course dinner with paired wine and it was incredible. We also visited the cellar door and had a wine tasting, which was great. We were even able to order wines to be delivered back to our house in Australia. We can’t wait to come back for our anniversaries over the next few years because we absolutely loved our stay at Stoneridge Estate.
