I recently had the pleasure of dining at Stoked Restaurant on the Esplanade in Whitianga as part of a package trip with Air Auckland. The restaurant boasts a modern and stylish decor, with a perfect location overlooking the beach and bay. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. The food was of top quality, with generous portions that were both delicious and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the tempura prawns and can't wait to have them again. The stunning location, delicious food, and attentive service make it a must-visit destination.
Good service, food well presented. They were happy to make a plain cheese pizza for my fussy son. I tried the squid a bit plain and the jalapeño poppers awesome.
Amazing location, staff and food! Yum! Had the lamb, chorizo artichoke pizza, homemade salmon pate, and baked cheesecake. Definitely booking ahead of time is recommended. The bbq smells wafting through were to die for- a real summer memory was made.
Found the service impeccable! Staff were super kind and our mains were ready within about 10 minutes?! Positioned right on the waterfront with amazing views. The only this is that the food is extremely expensive eg: $32 for a salad with plain tofu, lettuce, pumpkin and corn and $32 for fish and chips. However considering how nice the overall experience was and being right on the waterfront, I do understand the pricing, but just something to keep in mind when visiting for the first time.
Most delicious and fresh mussels we've tasted! The chargrilled steak was perfectly cooked and juicy. The ribs was amazing and generous portion 2x layers of ribs. Definitely recommend coming here for dinner, the staff are very friendly too

Amazing! Visiting from Rotorua for the weekend we booked in for dinner on a Saturday night lovely quaint restaurant the staff were SO amazing. Dinner was awesome the steak was perfectly cooked and a great char. The chicken thigh was soft and juicy with amazing textures from the rest of the meal and real jalapeno bites! Finishing of with a perfect sticky date. Great cocktails and beer. We then came for lunch the next day having a burger and macn cheese bites SO delicious 5/5 we WILL BE BACK
Really awesome place to relax and unwind with family and friends. Situated on the whitianga water front stoked has a great view of the bay and serves amazing food and beverages. In side and outside seating options and heaters in both areas this is a place that has it all. Great staff that are friendly and and this place also has wheel chair access for its patrons. Loved the coconut curry mussels and blue cheese and mushroom pizza with a nice glass of reisling and a local pale ale
Overall we had a good experience. Although the pork ribs looked a bit burnt, they were actually quite tender and delicious. We appreciated the effort put in by the owner to make us feel welcome and the hard work they're putting in to run the restaurant during these tough times.
What a good food experience, I had the salmon pate and the scotch fillet, both were delicious. The place is very nice with a beautiful view and the staff was very friendly and smiling.Food: 5/5
