This B&Q is set at St oswalds in Gloucester, its situated in a handy place which is easy to get too, plenty of parking and there is a macdonalds, Costa coffee, Taco Bell near as well, the staff at B&Q are helpful, it has a trade point so easier for builders to be quicker, big store with all your needs
Everything is neatly laid out in this store, and the helpful knowledgeable staff are the best people to locate and ask about what you need. They are in headset communication with one another and use hand-held devices that can check any stock levels at any local store. You may still get an item that isn't in store by getting them to check other nearby stores. Very impressed with how organised the shopping experience has become now since my last visit. Prices are competitive and plenty of choice. For bigger items you can use their trolleys or ask a store salesperson to help you to get stuff to your car.
Had a lovely young assistant serving us on the Valspar paint table today. She was patient and knowledgeable and a credit to the store. I tried so hard to remember her name but my brain failed me.She had dark hair and her name had 4 letters.
Ridiculously large diy store that you can easily get lost in where trying to find a product could take you above your 10,000 steps for the day. Swathes of areas left empty just because there’s nothing to fill them with and everything is on a big scale when it doesn’t need to be. Good luck !
Great store. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. There is everything there you need for any DIY job.
The only DIY store worth visiting. Well stocked shelves laid out clearly although, annoyingly, stuff is moved about a few times a year. Staff generally are chatty, cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable. The 'end of line' section is always worth a visit. Easy access to the site with plenty of parking just watch out for the time restrictions.
Great place Pity that there were loads of cars parked in the TRADE POINT ZPICK UP AREA had to park in main car park and push trolley with lots of heavy goods across car park
Good range of merchandise although I only found one item that I went for Self scan assistant must of been having a bad day.
I was having a tough time finding some DIY stuff but Stefania and Connor were the loveliest and most helpful people I could have hoped for. Stefania's recommendations were stellar and I actually hope to ask her if she wants to be my friend when I next visit the shop. I wish they both get the recognition they deserve for being so wonderfully approachable, professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the maze that is the B&Q building. I couldn't use the feedback form on the receipt as the link just returns a 404 error, lol.
Always fully stocked huge range of items, whether your decorating or doing a self-build & great prices
