Amazing meal. Food was fresh, hot and reasonably priced. Great blue cod and batter. Easy to find. Local recommendation. Busy because so many people like it. Vatity of sea food but cod favourite.
The only place in the island to get a takeaways. Blue cods Fish n chips are Yum and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly too make your day even better! They are closed on Monday though, so plan ahead for your schedule.
Buttery blue cod that melts in your mouth. De ent portion of half scoop of chips. Power went out just as I arrived and was hosing down but after a short 10 or 15 minute wait it came back on and didn’t hold things up. Sauce containers could use lids but I guess less plastic.
Opens from 5pm. Great chips but the real treat is the blue cod. Battered to perfection and melts in you mouth. Very generous portions although relatively expensive but worth it. If we hadn’t booked a pub dinner we would have had a second meal here on our two nights stay.
Fresh battered seafood. A quick alternative to the pub and 100% better than tramping food. Don't feed the flying rats!
Unassuming location but wow does it deliver. Blue Cod is a requirement if you are eating here either alone or in a burger. The food was unapologetically authentic which made this place really special. Keep me coming back for more? Hell yeah without a seconds thought.
Best fish n chips we've had for a long time. Beautiful fresh cod plus we got an extra little piece. And the chips were cooked really nicely - well cooked on outside, soft on the inside. Cost a bit more than your standard f'n'c in a big town but you get what you pay for.
Brilliant fish and chips. The chip portions are huge. The blue cod is just delicious.
The wait just makes the massive blue cod burger and chips even more incredible.
Best fish n chips fish in NZ. Fresh fish, no fishy-ness, buttery even. Delish. Note the opening hrs. I’m gutted I can get a second helping today.
