I ordered a take away of the blue cod fish and chips. It was alittle slow but i thought it was somewhat expected, as a small eatery. My first time trying the blue cod.. and i felt it was worth the price. The place had a very old school retro interior, it feels like you’re thrown back in time. Really loved the vibes. The store is also located opposite the ferry place if you’re going to Stewart island.
Food was great, waited a bit but was all fresh and well priced, lovely staff and atmosphere for a local eatery. The fish recommend the Cod was perfectly battered and absolutely delicious
We opted for a Chinese takeaway from Stella's and the first thing that hot us was the portion size....huge!!nSeriously one meal could feed 2 people easy!nThe food was packed well for takeaway and we chose to drive out of town a it and sit eating looking out to sea.nFood was good , hot and tasty.
The food is delicious including western fish & chip, also great Chinese food.
23 Dollars for 6 cod bites and minimum chip. Very disappointing. Cod bites looked appetizing but was mostly batter.nChips where fine. Thx
