We stayed in this hotel for a short weekend trip. Overall, I liked it. Here is the details; - Cleanliness & Comfort: Room and lobby were pretty clean and tidy. - Noise Levels: When you close windows, it is quiet enough. If you open them, there is noise from neighborhood. - Location: It is very close to train station. Also, 15-20 min walking distance to many places. Only downside, neighborhood doesn't feel safe enough. - Service & Staff: They're really friendly, helpful and kind. - Value for Money: It's a good deal when you consider quality of accommodation, service and overall experience.
The hotel is in a really convenient place! Right opposite the main tram/train station which goes into the central. The place itself is really good, I would recommend it to people when visiting. The people at reception were nice and friendly. The room was nice and clean including the bathroom. Only thing for me as a personal preference was that it was two single beds put together to make a double, so they kept moving and there was no heater option on the air con bit which made it a little chilly but we didn’t spend too much time in the room anyway. Again, just a personal thing nothing i would complain or take a star away for. Also there’s a great restaurant right next to the hotel which I can’t recommend enough !
This hotel is so nice! Love the area and the room is really spacious and comfortable. Price is really reasonable and the area is so lively. We liked it so much we decided to stay longer! Shout out to Hussein at the front desk who was really friendly and professional. Super helpful with extending our booking, and gave us a surprise upgrade. Quentin also checked us in and out, and had the most welcoming and friendly attitude. Wonderful staff!
Great location directly next to Brussels-Midi station and a quick walk into the city centre. Rooms were nice and despite there being no drink facilities in the room there was one at reception to use. Breakfast was also very nice Rooms: Small but nice and functional Walkability: Good travel connections and easily walk to town Food & drinks: Nice breakfast and coffee/tea at reception all day
I wanted a hotel close to the Gare du Midi for our onward Eurostar connection to London the following day. The hotel was very nice, the man who greeted us on reception was very friendly and welcoming. The position of the hotel on the corner of a very busy road meant that it was impossible to have the windows open at night and we had a poor night's sleep. Maybe ask for a room away from the road. The breakfast room was very pleasant and the choice of breakfast items varied. However, the hotel's position to the rear of the railway station, meant that the area was very dodgy and our early evening walk to Grand Place felt uncomfortable and unsafe. Fine for a one night stay, but not an area to linger in.
Hotel is by the main train station and is walking distance to the main sites. The room is a decent size, lovely and clean with its own bathroom. The receptionists were welcoming and I would recommend staying at this hotel.Rooms: 4/5
Close to the railway station and walkable. Good place if you are carrying luggage. Rooms were small but clean. Best part was having complimentary coffee, water, tea available all the time. Minus points for having only one elevator and it was not working.
The front desk person, James, is quite friendly, but everything else is disappointing. The rooms are the size of a large closet. They look nice enough, but basically enough room to just walk in and lay on the bed. There's only room for one piece of luggage, so if you're traveling as a couple, the second suitcase needs to rest on the floor next to your bed. No closet, no safe, no fridge in the room, no coffee maker or coffee, no toiletries, the air condition doesn't seem to work so the room is extremely hot, even though it's 13°C outside. I asked for a bigger room and they said this was the biggest room they had... At least I was happy to find out you could cast your own programming to the TV... Until I found out it didn't work. When I asked reception about it, they politely said they would change my room for one that worked, but they then realized that the cast feature is supposedly not working on any of the rooms. Very disappointing. Rooms: Barely enough room to walk around your bed. No closet. No fridge. No toiletries.
The location was ideal for us, we arrived in Brussels by train. We could leave our luggage behind the counter so we could walk around Brussels without our bags. It was very hot in our room, the AC did not do what it was supposed to do. We ended up asking downstairs if our window could be opened, fortunately, this was not a problem. For a weekend, the room was fine. We found the breakfast too expensive, 15 euros per person 12 euros if you gave notice in advance. We had breakfast twice at the station for half the price. From the hotel, it was easy to get to South Station and you could easily walk to the city center. Rooms: It was very hot in our room, the AC did not do what it was supposed to do. We ended up asking downstairs if our window could be opened, fortunately, this was not a problem. The room was very soundproof.
Clean room but small for two big men. Beds small. Room very hot with air con seemingly not providing any cool air. Couldn't open window. Dreadful pillows.Rooms: 2/5
