Shame to see Takapuna main Street so quite on a Thursday afternoon. The enhancements to the surrounds are excellent, the one way system appears to be working OK, but the empty shops a sign of the times. Get down here, support the locals. Tried Starbucks for a change always great for a coffee and donut. Now for a swim. Love Takapuna.

the place is close to takapuna beach so you have the option to stay in the resto for dine in or takeaway and go to the beach. the staff there are so lovely:
The normal Starbucks experience, with a really nice barista team on this weekend. Basically the only open cafe if you are also like me: hoping to get a coffee after 5pm
had no idea what I was doing but still got a nice drink. very cool
Always a clean store. Coffee is served quickly but tastes normal.
Good standard Starbucks. Minimal wait time considering the amount of people who were in there.
