I have only ever had the crispy chicken and avocado sushi because it tastes amazing. They put generous amounts of avocado and chicken in the sushi, and it is much cheaper than other stores in the region. It’s also much better quality than other St Pierre’s sushi stores I have been to, so I would recommend you give it a try if you’re visiting.
Food: We ordered takoyaki, tempura prawn bowl, chicken karaage and beef bowl and all was good except for the side salad, it had a bitter after taste and it taste wierd so I would really order the bowls with salad on it. Takoyaki isn't the best in the menu but it would satisfy your cravings. I highly recommend the tempura prawn with the sauce, its really good. The chicken karaage snack size wasn't really fresh when we had it, I mean it was good but not fresh.nnService: we visited the place on a holy week holiday so I really appreciate their service, while majority of the food stores and even groceries, they were open. Kudos to the staff for being accommodating amidst their tiring and busy day.nnAtmosphere: bento and sushi are offered on the same location, it is beside countdown. Free parking space and vacant dinning area are all available.
Ordered online but didn't think check order until we arrived home 45 mins later. One part of order missing completely, another part not what we ordered. No ginger provided and brown sushi rice overcooked. Contacted store who promised a refund which sadly never materialised.nnAlways enjoyed eating here, but this experience has put me off.
The best sushi I've had in New Zealand. I noticed they didn't have a California Roll on the menu and asked for it. The woman quickly agreed to make it and then some Salmon Nigiri. It was excellent. I will absolutely visit this restaurant again . You should too.
Sitting here now waiting on my food. But it’s not just me. The place is completely packed with customers at 6pm on a Thursday evening. Not one customer actually sitting in here dining. Due to the fact their new business structure seems to be “Made to Order”. Meaning. They no longer offer food on display. Ordering from the menu is not very appealing at all either. Sushi is solely marketed by presentation and options. Which they no longer offer. Unfortunately stopping here for food is now more than a hassle than it’s worth in my opinion. Definitely reviewing out of frustration as this is a poor experience.nnAlso I will add. Most sushi is enjoyed refrigerated and or chilled. You now get “warm” room temperature “made to order sushi.
